Requirement
Responsibilities:
1.Production Schedules – Ensures production schedules are developed through the S&OP process considering filter global forecast, customer needs, production capacity, material availability and inventory turn control. Responsible for meeting customer delivery commitments and tracking performance.
2.Cost Objectives – manage site overall cost performance for meeting standard product costs (material, labor, and overhead), and factory absorption rates. Also making sure that department managers meet cost objectives including departmental budgets. Needs to implement and maintain continual improvement on lean manufacturing.
3.Quality Objectives – Reviews quality issues and provides leadership for continual improvement. Needs to provide oversight on Six Sigma program.
4.Responsible to ensure the site operation complies with legal requirements (customs, labor, environmental, financial, etc.) and company policies.
5.Oversees R&D and administrative activities, holds weekly staff meetings and tracks key metrics.
Experience and Requirement
1.University degree from an accredited college/university; advanced degree preferred
2. Above 10 years operational experience with a minimum of 8 of those years in management
3. Requires a thorough understanding of country employment laws and practices
4.Demonstrated ability to successfully and effectively organize, manage and lead an organization of diverse disciplines
5.Creativity in approaches used to develop and direct short- and long-range planning and development program
