Requirement
Essential requirements:
-Self Starter - Has an entrepreneurial spirit;
-Has had a successful track record in sales and understands technical selling;
-Having worked in the composite industry, either selling to or selling the products made from composite materials is required;
-Has prior experience in the chemical market place is certainly a plus;
-Understands what it takes to open up new markets. Having lunched new product lines in his/her prior experience is a plus;
-Understands the value of building good customer relationships and solving customers’ technical problems;
-Has good communication skills both written and verbal. He needs to be able to relate to both technical people in the lab as well as with business and purchasing personnel. Also this person must understand the technical language both in English and Chinese;
-Having worked with new start up companies in the past is also a plus;
-He/she will need to have good organizational skills;
-He/she will need to be an energetic person that is on the road visiting customers. This is not a position that one sits in the office. He/she must be the prime mover;
-Has fair knowledge of the English spoken language is a plus.
Qualifications & Degrees:
-This person must have an engineering degree, preferably a chemical or chemistry background. An MS is a definite plus;
-Has worked as in a technical role preferably with at least one foreign company. Ideally this person would have been in technical role plus has had sales 3+ years of sales experience;
-Understanding basic English is required. Having a capability to understand written communications and technical literature is required.
